#TOGETHERBAND
A social action campaign to engage over a billion people with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Context:
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality, and address the urgency of climate change. However, awareness of the goals and their implications is low and on World Earth Day in 2019 the #TOGETHERBAND campaign was launched by one of our co-creators, the sustainable luxury fashion brand Bottletop, founded by Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman.
We need to wake up the world to the goals, their importance and the need to act. We need to start a movement.
To: Approach:
On World Earth Day in 2019 the #TOGETHERBAND campaign was launched by one of our co-creators and Ventures, the sustainable luxury fashion brand Bottletop, founded by Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman.
#TOGETHERBAND is a global movement that aims to bring together one billion citizens to promote and achieve the SDGs.
Each #TOGETHERBAND purchase comprises a pair of bracelets (one for you, one for a friend). These bracelets are handmade in Nepal from humanium – metal created by upcycling decommissioned illegal firearms seized in Central America, and upcycled ocean plastic. 1 kg of plastic is removed from marine environments whenever you buy a #TOGETHERBAND.
100% of the proceeds from each #TOGETHERBAND sale are used to spread the word about the SDGs and to fund projects that will build a better future for us all.
Over the course of 17 months, we will activate a global community from the worlds of sustainable fashion, contemporary art, music, sports, and others, all wearing #TOGETHERBAND bracelets to broadcast the SDGs that mean the most to them.

Alpina Gstaad ‘Life Below Water’ Event
In June 2019, with CA: Alpina Gstaad, To: hosted a series of intimate conversations showcasing forward-thinking ocean conservation projects. This event was a unique experience for guests who immersed themselves in the importance of Goal #14: Life Below Water. Critically, the Life Below Water event ensured that ambassadors would spread the word about #TOGETHERBAND and all of the UN SDGs.
